Notifications don't sync to Mac on OpenVPN in Sequoia 15.0

    Hello-

I recently (probably too early) updated to MacOS Sequoia 15.0. I noticed that after this update, my iMessages and notifications were not coming through and after a good amount of testing, I noticed that it is actually only when on OpenVPN Connect that Apple traffic for messages, notifications, etc seems to be blocked. When I use another VPN provider (my personal provider) and when I disconnect in general, I am able to get the notifications. Based on some Apple forums, I noticed that it likely seems related to the fact that OpenVPN Connect does not seem to show the VPN information on the Apple's System Settings -> VPN but my other provider does indeed show up there.

It appears that this is not just me as there are many reports of this on Apple forums and on reddit. Any ideas to get this working?

Just chiming in here that this is a problem for me too. If anyone's found any solutions, would love to hear about them. Or maybe we just need to wait for OpenVPN to release a fix...

      HI all,

This is a known issue with VPN solutions on Apple's end with the release of macOS Sequoia.

But according to their latest updates it should be fixed now:
