OpenVPN disconnection when the iPhone screen is locked

Hello! The VPN connection constantly disconnects when the screen is locked. I’ve been searching for a solution for several months, but nothing has helped. Please help. Due to constant disconnections, the VPN server starts blocking connections, and the OpenVPN client shows an error. I have to manually reconnect all the time.

Hi pabolee

Please open your .ovpn profile in a text editor and check if you have directive that says auth-nocache

If so, I would advise to remove it and reimport the profile in to the app.
