Hey guys,
Yesterday was terrible and so far today is no better. Hopefully yours is way better =)
I installed OpenVPN on an Ubuntu server (22.04)
and tried to connect to OpenVPN on Android (13), but only get a connection when connected to WiFi. I cannot use the internet then.
I then tried using 'push "redirect-gateway def1 bypass-dhcp"' in server.conf to put all traffic on VPN. Without success.
I then set up port forwarding on the router. Now OpenVPN will not connect at all on my Android and results in continouos loading.
I've read a lot of logs, argued with chatGPT and really don't know what to do anymore. Would you be so kind as to help me? What information do you need?
Edit: I have no followed the guide from digitalocean.com, but still cannot establish a connection either inside or outside my network. Am I probably doing something fundamentally wrong?
