    route delete *

    Hi,

I stupidly entered the command "route delete *" and now openvpn client won't connect. I read that I have to manually restore the route. Can someone help me with the correct command?

The client machine is Windows 11 and the gateway (openvpn server) is 192.168.2.1

I finally got the command to run, not sure if it is correct though. An d doesn't solve my issue.

    route add 192.168.2.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.1 OK!
This was a working VPN until a few days ago. I suspect an IP conflict, which I think I resolved. Before I suspected the IP conflict I ran the command:

    route delete *
in an effort to solve the following error:

    TEST ROUTES: 0/0 succeeded len=-1 ret=0 a=0 u/d=down
Route: Waiting for TUN/TAP interface to come up...
Now when I click connect the OpenVPN window opens as usual, however it is empty. After a few seconds an error pops up that the connection failed.

Fixed it. I used the following commands:

      netsh winsock reset
      โ€‹
      netsh int ip resetโ€‹
      Thank you!
