Unable to connect to an OpenVPN server
I have an OVPN file that I imported into Tunnelblick on macOS.
When connecting through Tunnelblick, I am prompted to enter the following credentials:
Username: MyUsername
Password: MyPassword
Security Code: MyCode
After entering these details, the connection works perfectly.
However, when using OpenVPN-Connect, I encounter two issues:
No separate field for the Security Code:
OpenVPN Connect does not provide an option to enter the Security Code separately.
I attempted to concatenate the password and security code like this:
Username: MyUsername
Password: MyPasswordMyCode
Connection issues despite authentication success:
The connection appears to establish successfully.
However, I am unable to reach the target server, whereas it works fine in Tunnelblick.
I reviewed the log file and consulted ChatGPT, which suggested that my password combination might be incorrect, leading to authentication failure. However, I tested multiple combinations, and the only one that allows the connection to establish is MyPasswordMyCode. Any other combination results in an immediate failure.
Could you suggest a solution to resolve this issue? I prefer to use OpenVPN Connect.
